Stockyards City, Oklahoma-based Buddy South is a roots-rock band playing what its members refer to as “Cowtown Rock.” Buddy South plays a brand of music that feels like a combination of country, rock n roll, and rock-a-billy, with maybe just a tint of the cowpunk of the 80s and 90s.
